About ReadiLight

ReadiLight turns any second screen — a phone, tablet, or spare monitor — into a color-adjustable fill light for video calls and recording, with a built-in teleprompter for scripted reads.

How it works

Open ReadiLight on the device you want to use as a light, position it near or above your camera, pick a color, and dial in the brightness. Tap Light only to fill the whole screen and hide every control. Optionally type a script, switch on Scroll, and the text glides across the bottom edge while you read naturally into camera.

Privacy

ReadiLight is fully client-side. There is:

No account or signup.
No analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts.
No cookies.
No server. Your color choices and script text are saved only in your browser's localStorage on your own device.
Nothing you type or configure is ever transmitted off your device.

Clearing your browser's site data for readilight.com removes everything ReadiLight has stored.
